Rental Agreement

Please read through our terms of hire carefully prior to your booking, these are in place for health and safety purposes and to keep our equipment in high standards to meet customer satisfaction.

InflataFun Events can NOT accept any responsibility for injury or loss sustained to any persons during the hire of our equipment.

​

If you are unsure of anything, please contact us to discuss our rental agreement further.

​

Booking and Delivery

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking, once received a full confirmation will be sent to the hirer.

  • For over night hires there is an additional deposit of £50 required, only available for secure locations.

  • You must pay the full balance prior or upon delivery. This is a condition of the contract, and we reserve the right to refuse to set up the unit without full balance being paid.  

  • The balance can be paid b cash upon delivery, if you are paying the balance via bank transfer this must be done 48 hours prior to the hire start.

  • Changes to the booking may be accepted subject to availability.

  • The Company will deliver, set up, and collect the inflatable at the agreed location, date and time.

  • Delivery times can be influenced on factors out of our control such as traffic, we will always call to discuss if there is a delay for any reason.

  • The hirer must be available to accept delivery within the delivery time frame agreed.

  • There must be access to a normal household 13A power socket for each inflatable. There must be no trailing cables that can pose a trip hazard.

  • The hirer must ensure clear and safe access to the setup location.

  • The area must also be clear of overhead obstacles such as branches or ceilings, beams & suspended lighting.

  • We will not be held responsible for any damages to property, including but not limited to garden or grass areas, patios, fences, gates, ornaments, vehicles etc. It is the hirers responsibility to make sure the space provided and access to this area are both clear and fit for purpose.

  • The hirer must ensure there are suitable electrical outlets to use for power.

  • Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation.

  • The inflatable must not be moved from its original setup position once installed or tamper with the electrical equipment.

  • All equipment will always remain the property of the company.

  • Please ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.

  • If the inflatable stops working or becomes damaged at any point, stop using it immediately and call us.

Indoor Venues

  • It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure the venue size is suitable for the equipment being hired, including the ceiling height.

  • We require a 30 minute time slot before and after the event has finished for delivery, set up and collection. Some equipment may require 45-60 minutes, this will be discussed upon booking if needed.

  • If the venue is not suitable in size upon arrival and we are unable to set up equipment, full payment is still due with no refund available.

General Rules

  • No food or drink to be consumed on any inflatables.

  • No sharp objects, shoes, jewellery or glasses permitted on the inflatables.

  • No pets are allowed on the inflatable at any time.

  • The Hirer is responsible for the safe operation of the inflatable from the time of delivery until collection.

  • The inflatable must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • The Hirer must ensure that users comply with the age and/or weight restrictions specified by the Company.

  • The Company accepts no liability for injuries sustained during the hire period.

  • No smoking or barbeques near any of our equipment.

  • No face-paints, party-poppers, streamers, silly string, or any other messy items are permitted on or near the inflatables.

  • No climbing or sitting on inflatables unless this is the sole purposes of the inflatable.

  • Please make note of tie down points (if appropriate) and make sure the area where the electrical blower is sited is out of bounds for children.

  • Should the equipment fail for any reason, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately and do not touch.

Hiring Our Staff

  • Please show staff respect at all times.

  • We do not accept any liability for injuries caused by using our inflatables.

  • Any users under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Weather Conditions

  • The Company reserves the right to cancel or postpone a booking in adverse weather conditions, including high winds and heavy rain, for safety reasons.

  • No refund will be given once the inflatable has been delivered and set up. Please check weather conditions, we are always happy to reschedule if needed. A partial refund or credit may be offered at the Company’s discretion depending on circumstances.

  •  In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off.

  • In the event of high winds or thunder and lighting, the equipment must be switched off immediately.

  • In the event of very hot weather, please be aware the material of the inflatables can get hot to touch.

Damage or Loss

  • The Hirer is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of equipment during the hire period.

  • Any damage must be reported upon collection.

  • We are insured with full public liability insurance against the failure of our hire equipment; all claims are subject to an excess which the hirer concerned would be liable for.

  • The equipment must be returned in an acceptable condition. It must be clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If badly soiled or damaged the hirer will be required to pay additional fees to cover cleaning costs and/or loss of earnings as a result of being out of use.

  • Cleaning charges start from £25, with damage charges being significantly more.

Cancellations, Modifications and Deposit

  • Modifying your booking is based on availability of the item booked.

  • Your deposit can be carried forward to another booking if it is within 6 months of the original hire date.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of collection, providing there is no damage or excessive cleaning.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the hire time to receive a full refund of your deposit.

  • Cancellations within 30 days prior to start will receive a 50% refund of the deposit and no refund at all within 7 days of hire date.

  • In the event of more than one item being booked, the cancellation fees apply to each item.

  • Last minute cancellations due to heavy rain, high winds or weather warnings there is a free modification with no fees to rebook within 6 months of hire date.

 Liability

  • The Company will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the hired equipment.

  • The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Company against any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from the hire or use of the equipment.

  • Anyone who is feeling unwell or has a history of back or neck problems must not be allowed to use the equipment.

  • The inflatable must not be moved from its original setup position once installed or tamper with the electrical equipment.

Insurance

  • The Company holds £5 million Public Liability Insurance, details of which are available upon request.

  • This insurance does not cover injuries caused by misuse or lack of supervision.
